Legacy Park Friends awarded a symbolic $56,500 check to Greenville City Council on January 9, 2023 to signify the collective donations that have been made to support various improvements to Legacy Park. In addition to a $25,000 contribution from Steve White Auto Group that funded the Shady Retreat--an area with 2 new shade structures and 2 picnic tables--the park is now equipped with 6 new park benches, 3 new picnic tables, a bike rack, and enhanced garden perennial beds, thanks to the generosity of local park enthusiasts!
