Looking for a Tax-savvy Way to Give to Legacy Park Friends? Consider Donating Stock.
The process is easy and you can claim a charitable deduction for the current fair market value of your stock at the time of donation.
All you’ll need is the name of the stock, its ticker symbol (if publicly traded), the number of shares to be donated, and the intended transfer date. Send us an email at legacyparkfriendsinfo@gmail.com and we will provide you with our EIN (IRS tax exempt number) and our brokerage firm information. Once the transaction goes through, we send you a tax receipt that lists the date of transfer, the value of the donation, the number of shares, and the stock’s ticker name.
